The city of Mountain View has announced the commencement of work on the new stretch of Permanente Creek Trail that will extend the trail from Rock Street to Middlefield Road, along the edge of Crittenden Middle School. The announcement was phrased in a rather a rather odd manner – being announced as a trail closure, though that section of trail has never been open. We’ll try to swing by and add some pictures of the work in progress and preview the trail.
